The Florida Beaches make their first visit
of the season to Orlando to skate in the
seasons first FWHL Jamboree. The
teams will be looking to keep their
winning ways against the likes of the
Orlando Sirens, Ft Myers Lady
Everblades, Jacksonville Breakers,
Tampa Bay Blades and other foes. The
weekend will be a fun filled few days with
plenty of hockey to be played. The
players are all eager to bring their game
to the ice again after a few weeks of
practice. Asked how she thinks the
Beaches will fair in the upcoming games
Linda Belanger was very optimistic about
the Beaches chances to skate away with
8 more wins, " we have been putting in a
lot of time on the practice ice and things
are really starting to gel." She also went
on to say that " we feel that all the
games will be tough I really think our
teams have the skill to win them all."
Games will start with the Florida Beaches
C squad taking the ice Saturday at 10am
with the B squad to follow at 11am. If all
goes as planned the team will be arriving
back in South Florida with 8 more wins
under their belts.
